Winter may be drawing in but DUB SPOT continues its red-hot run deep in The Music Box basement. October’s busy party shook the club’s foundations thanks to our new sound system, installed exclusively each month by the mighty Blacka Acoustics.
On Saturday 29 November, we bring a live twist to proceedings and welcome Manchester’s hip hop kings Broke’n’English to the stage.
They will join DUB SPOT main man Zed Bias to deliver an exclusive performance of tracks from their new collaboration. Code-named ‘Waste Management’, it takes Zed’s dubstep sonics and Broke’n’English’s sharp rhymes to a grimy new level.
You may have heard a taster of their sound on Radio 1’s Experimental Show with Mary Anne Hobbs but see the live show for the first time at DUB SPOT.
Backing up the headliners are Hit&Run rude boy Rich Reason, and resident DJs Joshua Black and Chimpo, armed to the nines with a ton of new dubs and of course, the now infamous dub siren.
